"Working with the Fur Council of Canada’s Design Network program inspired us to explore the possibilities of using fur in non-traditional ways, such as in furniture design. The result is a piece of furniture with a surprising - and luxurious – twist. "

Periphere was launched 7 years ago by Thien and My to express their personal vision of furniture. Each piece is produced by hand and by skilled craftsmen at small shops in Montreal. Each year, Periphere introduces new designs that reflect their vision of what furniture could or should be at a precise moment in time and, in doing so, they take themselves to new territories. Periphere’s furniture is designed to engage the user in fresh and surprising ways.

The pieces below were created with high quality natural furs sponsored by Fur Council of Canada for PERIPHERE'S Fall/Winter 09-10 collection.
