The Design Network of the Fur Council of Canada has been celebrating the creativity of Canada's leading fashion designers through collections that draw on Canada's historic foundations in the fur trade. Each year, the Fur Council calls on the talent of top and new designers to create unique pieces inspired by the rich textures and versatility of fur. In 2008, the FCC has invited two young Canadian designers to explore the outstanding creative properties of fur: Sydney Holloway (Toronto) and Frederick Lacourse (Montreal)
